Anybody have Velvet Ride Shackles?

I'm interested in some feedback from anyone that has Velvet ride spring shackles on there trucks......I'm interested in having them on my 3500 but have no idea how much they really soften up the ride. Apparently they can also end up dropping the ride height of the rear of the truck?

You might PM Greg Boardman or call KORE Performance....I hear good things about their "mini-packs" , but I don't know if they work on a 3500.

That should soften up the ride without dropping the ride height. You might try a better shock too...what rear shocks are you running?

I have em....when I put them on I noticed a difference no doubt. Now......I guess Im used to it.....seems rough again. They did not change the ride height of mine. The bolt they use is smaller, I had an issue with that, they had good service too. I ve towed a decent amount, up to 30k so I suspect the bolt is not an issue.

I installed a set when I first bgt my truck. Softens the hard bumps a little but not real noticable when empty, which is what I bgt them for. Looking at the install...they have to lower the rear end about 1-2". Don't really remember noticing it much.
Excellent quality...no problems over 28 months.

Uh oh, they lowered the rear? Darn it, my truck is level now and I just bought some to smooth out the ride when unloaded... Double negative...

Have you looked at the Kendlman air ride system? I'm thinking of airbagging the rear of my 3500.
