Another Turbo?
I am going to order some tranny upgrades really soon and one day I'll put 110hp DDP stage 3 injectors in. I would still like the capability to tow to my truck's max. GVW. I've heard of auto trucks not being able to spool a tubo if it's too big. I am willing to turn down my edge juice while towing a bit if needed. What size turbo would be best for this truck? 62/12, 64/12, 64/14, or anything else? I don't really know that much when it comes to turbo sizes. Please help.
Id say 62/65/12 or 14. I heard the 64/65/14 draws in too much air to move it and keep it cool resulting in high egt's.
Im along the same lines as you, Have the J/A and am planning on the DDP 3's like you.. and a 62/65/12 is what Im planning on. Then if egt's are a little too high for me Ill swap the exhaust housing for the 14cm.
Unfortunantly Im planning on doing studs and exhaust mani with the sticks and turbo and figure it will take atleast 1 year from now to get the cash I need for all that

I havent heard much about it, but it should be fine since it is an S300 based turbo just like everyone builds. Im not a big fan of that huge silicone boot you have to use on the 2nd gen trucks. Most other places make them so that you can use your stock compressor piping, but then again, that boot may be just fine.
