Another headlight question
 

I need to replace the headlight assemblies on my '00. I am thinking of changing them over to the sport style. Does anyone know, are these a bolt in replacement or are there other mods required to do this change. I know the bulbs are different & thats no big deal, but I really don't want to get into serious body / mount changes. Thanks!!![duhhh]

For your year truck, yes, the sport style assembly is bolt in. You will just have to modify wiring for the lights as you already mentioned. There are kits to do that or you can do it yourself.

Amazon has a retrofit sport light kit for our Dodges. Cannot attest to the quality. I went with an eBay single-light set a couple years ago. The light pattern is pretty poor. I augment them with a good set of fogs while WISHING I had went with the sport light conversion kit instead.

Do some searching... there are TONS of articles on this subject.

Thanks for the info, I started finding more stuff on this after I posted. My local NAPA can get me the light assemblies I just need to find the schematics to wire it or the kits. Thanks again!!

I got the Amazon kit w/electrical adapters, very happy with them.
