Have had one on since Jan 2008 lots of miles decent pressure 21 @ idle 12-13 @ road speed and 6-7 on hard pulls, but it has acted spooky when changing filters otherwise been happy

I had my first Airtex last about, mmm 4 months and that is down along the frame. I have another one on there now so we'll see how long this one lasts me.

Replaced my Carter last Nov. with the Airtex. I put maybe 10K on it when I left for Fl on vacation. Made it to El Dorado Ar (50 mi out) and started lossing pressure. Stopped and bought a replacement pump (another airtex) and all the filters they had because I was hoping it was bad fuel. Changed at least 3 filters and pressure always came back up for at least 50 miles but then it completely died in south Miss. Put new Airtex on in campground, went to Destin and the new one died on the way back in Mobile. Luckily I threw the old Carter in the toolbox that I originally replaced and made it home with 12 psi. Ran that old one for another 6 mths and it finally gave it so I'm back to a new Carter. Airdog will be my next one.

that is what I was afraid of. reliability issue! dealer told me they had had almost no problems from the E7153. Buyer beware!

I know this is a fairly old thread, however I just got my Airdog in the mail on wednesday and hoping to install later today.

I went through 2 Airtex's in about 6 months, my last one lasted about a month. So no more Airtex for me, even the "new and improved" ones.
