Ahh. Life is Good!!!
I missed my comp.
I finally got one (thanks palmetto kid) after being without for over a year. I forgot how much power these little things added. Fuel pressure is holding steady at 12@WOT. EGT's are at 900 with no wastegate clamp. I can't wait to put that on (waiting for the turbo to cool). I didn't pierce the wire because A) no money for new VP, 2) no money for a new tranny, and D) I don't have a TST grabber yet.
Ahh. Time to go and drive again.

Sometimes it's chicken, sometimes feathers...how's that leg quarter?
I've been wonderin' how big injectors would act with the Comp pump wire unhooked.
Wouldn't you be accomplishing the same thing...lottsa fuel?

just so long as the timing is runnin at 16-18* it would be like a p-pump... they got no timing advance lotsa fuel = lotsa smiles
where is this wire at and what if you unhook it on a stock dodge with a vp???????????
i'll try anything once

The wire you are talking about it part of the comp. You tap into a wire on the vp to take advantage of the comp's full 120 hp. With the wire untapped, you only get 65 hp like an EZ but you can adjust the fueling levels inside the cab.

I was congratulating BigBlue on his re-found joy. A leg quarter is a chicken leg & thigh still joined and is best found on a grill with some barbeque sauce slopped on. He's gettin' the chicken not the feathers.
Feathers are no good no matter how you cook 'em anyway. Boil'em for days and they still won't soften enough to eat. I wonder if you fried them easy in good oil...
