I have an impact driver that works great for tight screws but there's no way I can get a hammer in there to hit it. Lisle Corporation The valve grinding compound is a great idea. I'll try it again with a ratchet and the bit from the impact driver. Thanks

No way you want to use an impact driver there. (Even if you could.)

I meant something like- 1/4" screwdriver bit.



Take the handle piece and use the 2nd item from top to provide torque, tap the contraption lightly with a hammer to shake things loose.
