98 Dodge 12 valve 215hp build up
I'm in the process of adding some serious power to my truck and I need help. So far I've got a #10 tst plate, s+b air intake and south bend con FE 13" clutch rated to 550h.p. I ordered 370hp injectors and 191 delivery valves and a stage 3 0-100 psi snow water/meth kit. The truck also has 3" straight exhaust. Should I get a different turbine housing? how about GSK kit? and afc spring? If so what does everyone recomend? The truck is lifted 5" with 35 inch tires, 5 speed with 3:55 gears. Thanks in advance for everyone's help

What would a good turbo be for my application, would a new housing help for now? 4 inch exhaust is on my list when funds and time allow

If your going to pull or race with limited street use I'd go with a 64/14 or 66/14 s300 based one from HT turbo or Industrial Injection. If your going to tow or drive on the street id do a 62/14. If you have the money go for ont of HT turbos 71mm series have heard nothing but good things from them. Also you might want to have you timing bumped up to 16.5 deg.

The truck has to breath to use all of the fuel. Exhaust and turbo (4" and a HTT 62/12 to start). You can pull the pump and have it recalibrated for more fuel as well. Then you will need head studs and possibly O-rings to keep the lid on. It just keeps going and going and going . . .
Seriously, I would do the 4k gsk (with heavy duty valve springs) and AFC kit (cheap) and put the money into a turbo and exhaust before the water/meth kit (with that you may surely need a different HG and studs). By then your 550 HP clutch won't be holding anymore and you'll need to upgrade that too. It just keeps going and going and going . . .

Where do I get a HTT 62/12 from? What is a HG? Is it possible to stick with a 3k GSK so I can't rev it as high?

How much HP are you wanting? How do you use your truck? Do you tow, if so how heavy? Is bottom end spoolup, topend power, or both most important? There are many variables into making a truck run the way you want it too.

I'm wanting about 500-600 horse. I use it as a weekend long haul driver. I do tow any where from 4k lbs to 15k lbs. Both top and bottom end power is important to me. Thanks

I talked to rip he said other than the injectors I could use a single to keep the price down. He also reccomended a 62/14. Where is the best price on a new or used one? I also will have to pick up a 4 or 5" downpipe

I noticed you have 35" tires and 3.55 gears. I had a 215 pump that was turned up, a SPS 62 turbo, 4" exhaust, and a few other goodies, and the same gear/tire combo. I didn't like it. The tires are too tall for the gears. If you like your tires that big, you might want to consider switching to a 3.73 or 4.10 gear. Low end is not good with that combo.
