98 24valve high rpm miss
 

Hello, I have a 98 24 valve with 100+ Edge nozzles, Edge/attitude, Holley Blue pump new lift pump and AEM filter, this year I have had a problem at top end it misses reallllly bad 3/4 and below are fine but up high is terrible until it shifts. I do need a desperate transmission change but I would like to take care of this issue first. ANY HELP?????

Unhook the Edge, make sure you plug your map sensor back in and see if it still has a miss at high rpm. If not your edge box may have a problem. Also are you running a fuel pressure gauge if so what is your fuel pressure at wot.

Fuel pressur w/o is around 10psi, the map sensor is the one the edge hooks to correct? I will try that and see.... runs strong down low but seems to run out of fuel or like that up high on the rpm. I think it should shift quiker, i think it stays to close to the rpm limiter up high if there is one with the edge.. Also could it be de-fueling to much??? And if yes how to change.

The truck stays in gear wayyyy to long befor shifting to the next gear and stays on the rev limiter..
