70mph, 1850rpms, 285's....
So what gears do I have?
I've looked everywhere I can think to check, and no luck. I'm betting on 3.55s, not 4.10's, but thought I'd ask the experts? Oh, and the 70mph was per gps, not uncorrected speedo.... |
3.73's...
|
3.55's I run about 2k doing 65 with 265's
|
im up around 2000 to 2100 with 285's and 4:10 gears
|
3.55's. The only two factory options that Dodge came out with before 2003 were 3.55's and 4.10's. I have 4.10's with 285's and I'm around 2200 RPM at 70 MPH.
|
I have 285's and 4.10 gears on my auto. I rev about 2000rpm at 68, gps corrected.
|
with 3.55's, 285's(33's) and a 47RE at 1850RPM, the speed calculates to 74mph... 70mph calculates to 1750RPM...
with 4.10's and 285's, the RPM for 70mph calculates to 2025RPM... |
SO 3.55's IT IS!!!!!!!! THANKS GUYS, I KNEW YOU"D BE ABLE TO HELP!!!!

Not to steal the thread but, the sticker under the hood of my 94' says 3.50. Is that how they labeled 3.55? or is that what it has?
|
Also, not to steal the thread, but manual vs. auto, autos overdrive is a bit taller than the NV4500. .74 vs .76 I think, I used to turn 1850 at 65 (on stock 245/75-16) with the auto, now I'm at about 2k at 65 with the 5 spd, 3.55's.

gears
Easy way to check is one rotation of the wheels equals how many turns of the driveshaft.
