5" exhaust is in!

i bought some 5" exhaust from summit racing for $380. comes with all the clamps and a muffler. i am running the muuffler that came with it and it is very deep. cruising at under 2k rpms it is not noticable. getting on it though is another story. i am very please with the ease of install and sound of the exhaust. revving it at idle you can hear the turbo spin very clearly. now i am awaiting somone to sell me rv275 injectors and i am also in the market for a 6" turn down tip my new exhaust. i recommend this system to anyone. the price and quality is hard to beat!

is that ffrom the downpipe and back? what size is the downpipe?

is it 5 inch over the differential and coming out behind the wheel or how? does it work on a 2wd? ... clearance between bed and differential...

I don't have the summit.. but the Expandit it brand.. about the same price.. other than I had to paint the clamps.. I have liked the system... This one is a 4in downpipe to 5in after the downpipe... and have sold a few.. everyone seems to like them.. especially for the price.. the only thing I haven't liked is some of the sets have been a little scratched when they came in... I got a 4in D-Max kit waiting for a truck....

Get some pics up of the new system.... (Like I have room to talk... )

MBRP has a 5x5x12 turndown (p/n T5055). Anything bigger than that you need a 6" stack and an adaptor. I just got a magnaflow 4x5x20 ands it pretty nice. The turndown not only keeps the soot off your truck it also doubles as a street sweeper and/pr leafblower

maybe i'll have to look at the mbrp turn down. how much does it run? my exhasut has a 4" downpipe and goes to five inch after that. so from downpipe back is 5". even with the 4" dp it is a tight fit, but i had polenty of room over the rear axle for 5".
