4" or 5" through bed?

Hey all, looking for some opinions.

I am looking to do a single stack on my truck, and was wondering should I go 4" through the bed or 5" through the bed?

5" would be easier because i already have the 5" under the truck. However, 5" is a rather large hole to be cutting in the bed.

5" is only an inch larger than a 4" hole

Depending on if you can afford to loose the few inches in your bed(like putting a full sheet of plywood in with gate closed). The offset look when you come straight up from where the exhaust is looks much better that in the corner. But that is my opion, and i didnt car about loosing the bed space since the 99 is only a toy truck.

IMPO, come straight up off the exhaust... that's where I've run my 6" mitre.

That is problably how I will do it, that seems to be the least expensive route. only have to spend a little over $100 vs. piping it to the corner which would be around $150

As for bed space I am not worried about loosing some, as mine is mainly a toy, and is almost too high to haul anything.

I would actually gain some bed space over having the tool box, the tool box would come out.

Diesel Storm,
Please help me understand your original question. You currently have a 5" system under your truck, I assume you do not plan to run a smaller stack than 5" then. So, why would you want to cut a 4" hole in the bed? Are you considering going from 5" to a 4" adapter back to a 5" stack?....I can only guess you are going from a 5" system into a 6" stack and meant to ask about a 5" or 6" hole....
