3k now about 2850K
 
I just had my injection pump rebuilt. Timed at 15.5. Runs excellent but my old 3K kit that use to go to around 3100 seems to be around 2850 now.

Do I need to screw in the clickers on the springs one more click?

I see guys in here running a custom 3600 GSK. What does the 3600 kit involve. I had the heavier valves springs installed when I had the head gasket replaced. So should I just shoot for 4K???? I am very happy with my trucks performance. But I want more RPMS.!!!!![laugh]

If I had the HD valve springs, and wanted more RPM, I would just swap out the inners for the 4K set if I was going in anyway. And go a click tighter (I'm pretty sure you should tighten them, its 12:40 here...)

Should I be able to get 3K or 3200K our of my 3K GSK kit? Can you over tighten you GSK ???

I think in a 160 pump that it is common for a 3k GSK to not quite make 3k.

I have about 3200, but on a 215 pump, that fueled hard to about 2800 stock...
