3GSK Arrived, install question

I got my gsk from City diesel, it looks like some quality stuff. The instructions are for going in through the top side of the pump not the side. They actually seem really easy, just alittle tedious to keep anything from falling into the pump. I have a really strong magnet, so should I just follow these instructions, or does anyone think going in through the side would be better? The reason I'd want to go in from the top is because to me it seems u have more visibility than through the plug since it's kind of down in there and hard to get to.

I've done it both ways and the last few times I went from the top.
You need to take more care as not to drop anything but.... its just a personal preference thing.

go through the side, once you pull the plug off the springs are right there and its angled up so they're facing right at you.

when I did mine I didnt take anything off accept the plug on the side of the pump. Theres enough room to do what you need to IMO...depending on how big o feller you are.

hmm, well I thought I read somthing about a wire and rod that u have to move and make sure u put them back adjusted right. Plus I don't have a caliper, so I guess i have to put it off anyway until I buy one of those
