2004 innercooler into a 1998?

Just curious if anyone has put a 2004 innercooler into a 98. Is it worth the effort for the, i think, extra cooling?

Thanks

In my opinion it is not worth the effort and money until you have a lot more compressed air (like with twins) and therefore the need for more cooling of the charge air.

Pulling your radiators and giving them a good cleaning should net you much of the temperature drop of installing a different intercooler.

Sorry, I do not know if the 2004 intercooler would fit, or with which modifications.. but in my opinion the stock intercooler is good up to at least 600 rwhp if it is clean and not damaged.
