12mm headstud 40 psi= blown head gasket??

Hello, I have been looking into either 12mm or 14mm head studs and fireringed cylinder head has anyone blown a headgasket using the smaller studs ?? I was to hrvp, 150 injectors, smarty and a comp would blow my new gasket and also was told if i put on my Ind Inj sb that i would pobably destroy the head when the gasket lets go. I havnt found many failed gasket issues with studs during a search but any info would be great.

I've been running 40+psi of boost, TST, Smarty, bd155's for over a year now with no headgasket issues. I just installed the 12mm studs and I'm spraying water/meth and knock on wood I haven't had any issues. I've got 125k miles on the stock headgasket. The 12mm studs will be fine for anything under 1000hp. With studs and fire rings I wouldn't worry about anything else at all. I'd spray nitrous, water/meth, run lots of timing, etc.

I made just shy of 450rwhp at 42psi on an HX40... the head gasket finally let go at about 250k miles... that was 100% stock gasket/bolts/etc.

Plenty of times. I am tapping my block RIGHT NOW. Just taking a break for a minute. If I could go back I would do without the firerings and just use studs alone...
