12cm w/gt'ed ex hsg partition removal
12cm w/gt'ed ex hsg partition removal
Hypethetically speaking I could actually remove the partition in the ex hsg. Why would this not be better than drilling, of course it would be blended and smoothed once partition is removed, would this help or hurt anything or is it just overboard?
What effect would this have on spool up, lag, boost, or egt?????
Anyone want to donate a stock 12cm w/gt'ed hsg for the experiment

Just talked to my bro he said the partition "scrolls" run all the way around through the hsg so taking out the partition as opposed to drill the partion to gate the other 3 cyl's might actually create a pulse issue so maybe I'll just strike that plan and drill instead, thanks for reading
FYI 'Slope....been studying the HX for the compounds. I think rather than an external gate and all the extra plumbing and space, I'm gonna make a spacer between the turbine hsg and back cover. Then I'll open up the gate hole as large as the housing will accomodate and make a new flapper to accomodate it. The spacer will allow more swing clearance for the larger gate valve. Then, I will also open up the partition hole to match the new gate hole.
If it don't work, 35 housings are cheap
