125hp injector lope

just installed 125hp injectors from Area Diesel along with a new VP44 and stock lift pump. Added Juice w/ Attitude. I have stock turbo and straight pipe exhaust. What is the highest turbo temp you can run for 30 seconds or so. Like for a pull or race? Also, the 125s create a lope or stumble at idle and initial acceleration. Once the turbo boost kicks in hang on. Just wondering what I can do - if anything - to smooth the lope and help with lag and exhaust temps. Had it up to 1750 once.

larger injectors will cause a lope not to worry, 1750* for 30 sec. is pushing it! the lope you will learn to live with .the elecronics in the pump are set for a X amount of fuel delivery and with larger injectors its having a harder time to keep idle set because you injecting more fuel then what it thinks [laugh]

didn't run 1750 for 30 sec.....just juit it when backed I backed out. what is a sig??? Any suggestions on the turbo and fuel pressure? 1300 is pretty common and I drop below 2 psi within 5 sec....

whoa buddy get a FASS, pusher pump, scotty kit, some kind of fuel pump on there to raise that pressure, when it gets below 5-6psi is when it will start to really damage the VP44 injection pump, they are known to fail commonly and are a $2,000 repair. please do yourself a favor and dont drive the truck for long periods at wide open throttle until you get some better fuel pressure in that thing

can you just do away with the factory lift pump and put a high volume 30 psi holley elec. on that runs with key on? Do I need to put bigger lines on or will the pressure and volume do alright with factory lines.

lots of guys are using the holly blue .30 psi is to hi 22 psi is perfect I would look in to a walboro or a Fass lp there the hot item for fuel pumps. you could gey bigger lines or get a FASS with filters and run strait to the VP

I have Diesel Dynamics 150hp injectors in my truck and it doesn't lope hardly ever. But a buddy of mine has the same truck, same box but with Bully Dog 125hp injectors and it lopes bad all the time. I wonder if its just different companys injectors lope and other ones don't. I wonder why that is?

That is because

those DD injectors are probably EDM'd, take my case for instance where my injectors ARE NOT edm'd, i run 370s and they stumble like nobodys business, I downright despise it. Too much fuel on the low end, and an improper spray pattern will cause taht loping, surging or whatever you want to refer to it as.

If you dont squeeze on expenses on injectors you will go ahead and reduce your lope.. IMHO
