if you have a limited slip it will look like this with the cover off. or there should be a sticker under the hood by the latch telling you what rear end/gear ratio/and it will say LSD if it is a limited slip.

most trucks came with them but yes it was an option and some did come without. if you have a really good flashlight you might be able to peek in the fill plug and see whats in there.

ABS shouldnt matter. the sticker should be on the hood. id take a picture be i hada different hood so no sticker for me either. you could take you VIN to a dealer and they can tell you what it came with from the factory. not sure how else to check it.

Sticker is hard to read. Looks like it was put in the sun for 5 years.
I see 355 gears and dyna 80. Nothing else.
Thanks for the tip about the glove box. i wish they had printed it in a bolder font and covered it
with plastic to protect it better.
Oh the little details in life.

What you guys trying to figure out, if the truck is a LSD? Just jack up the truck so that both tires are off the ground. Put the truck into neutral and spin one tire. If both sides rotate the same direction, its a LSD, if they go the opposite direction, its a open diff. If you want an el-cheapo locker, just weld the spiders up.

Rear end
I thought even if you lift the vehicle, the two will spin in the opposite direction. It's only when significant wheel spin is created will the other wheel lock up. This is due to the friction additive in the lube. No??
