Truck died last night

I was driving down the road going about 55 and the truck died and would not start back up. There is no check engine light on and no codes. My first thought was obviously the IP, but with no check engine light and no codes is it possible that it could be something else?

Did you run out of fuel?
I know i know you're not dumb but it happens all the time when the sending unit goes Kaput and you think that the VP44 is bad and it doesn't throw any codes.

Crack a few injector lines loose and crank the truck over. If you get fuel out of the loose lines, your IP is working. If no fuel crack the feed line to the IP and see if you have fuel there. If none there crack line going to lift pump. Process of elimination. Mine never threw a code, but would not deliver fuel to the injectors.

I cracked some injector lines and fuel shot out, i got it running and it runs good and fuel pressure is right up where it needs to be. I was thinking before since it didn't throw any codes that maybe the fuel gelled up cause it has been below freezing here the past few nights. So i drove it to the parts to store and got two new fuel filters and ran some de-gelling stuff through the tank. It runs better than before now so everything seems to be working great atleast for now.(Knock on wood )

Glad to hear it is running again. If it is that cold run some Power Service every tank, it will keep it from gelling.
