i do??? that was never in my package of documents that i recived.

Sorry everyone for not being on here much but the past 2 months it has been crazy. We moved into our new house back november and just had our wedding back on the 6th. I finally got DSL at my house today so that has been limiting my time also. It is very time consuming to use my I-phone like i have been for the past 3 months for internet.

I do like the idea of the stickers. if anyone is good in photoshop it would be really neat to incorperate something with PA DTR 15 in it. if anyone likes what scott has on his truck they are simple enough i could add that to the DTR logo and get them printed.

 

sorry about that read my post above this one. I just go a new desktop so once i get outlook up and running and sync my computers i will respond and add you to the map and list.

Dave, do you think you could dig that old post up with the google map and make it a sticky?

 

I just got to my desktop... i injured my self at work so i went somewhere i don't have to move around a lot between places i need to go... nothing bad just more annoying than anything else.

I have photoshop on this computer and im looking for my old dodge apps and see if i can't get one or two of them to work with the cummins... i'll also try to incorporate one for pa dtr :-)

 

I tried to get a personalized chapter logo but no go.
The DTR admin is very picky about doing anything to their sticker. So i added my own below the DTR sticker.

 

that's what i thought. i know it states that you can't make any modifications to the DTR logo. Nick before you spend any time creating logos let me talk to Rich and see what the official word is about it. Don't want to go though the design process and not be able to use them.

 

Scott is correct, you can not alter the logo we want it the same for ALL the chapters. The reason behind this is so we can all recognize a chapter logo when we see it.

 

An idea maybe, is to have a sticker to place under the DTR sticker to designate the chapter instead. Or something close to this.. Maybe have it color match and size match to make it look like it was made that way. But not change the original DTR sticker in any way..

 

The Official chapter logo has the chapter designation already on it and I sent it via email today.

if i knew what font the original was made out of i could made it look nicer. it would be cool to maybe have the gray ring or an additional white ring around it with the chapter inside it.

 

Pretty much boils down to, you cannot do anything to the DTR sticker.
But you can make your own sticker to place around it. Like i did. That way i'm not altering the DTR sticker in any way.
Had the sticker guy at the Fall Brawl make it for me while i was there.

 

I like the curved under rather then the strait. It's to bad the DTR logo isn't generation available as far as 1st gen truck front ect. Is there anything like that Larry or are they all the front of a 2nd gen.

 

yea nick i am afraid it would be better to just leave it the way it is . Ryan I am almost certain that there is not a logo with a first gen. I often thought that would be really neat and asked at one point (when i first joined) if there was such a thing.

 

No you can not alter the design it is our "logo', that would be like buying a Macdonalds restaurant and replacing the Golden Arches with giant donuts
