She went from stage 3 cancer (not good) to stage 1. The doctor removed a 5Cm almost 2 inch chunk from her to be safe and found out that she had taken plenty of material. Nancy will still have to go through chemo and radiation and will have a 90+% survival chance at 10 years. Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers.

We are giving thanks.

Dusty

Thank you God!!!

That's wonderful news Dusty! I am so happy for you and Nancy!

Any updates? As far as chemo/radiation, and such?

My mom had her last chemo treatment a few days after Valentine's Day, and is doing great.

Yep, wonder about you folks, but have not searched for the thread to ask.

Please post up a good Testimony, so Termite 06 can realize how powerful we are together in prayer.

Hello all:

Want to say how grateful we are for all your thoughts and prayers. Believe me when I say that they do work, not only for peace of mind but the healing process as well. Nancy finished her last Chemo on the 18th of May. She had 4 rounds of AC Chemo then 4 of Taxol Chemo each spaced three weeks apart. The AC made her nauseous and the Taxol makes her joints hurt and hands and feet numb and tingly with the little needle like sensations (like when your arm or leg falls asleep) this is supposed to go away in time. We have to go back to Stanford to see her surgeon in June for a checkup before she starts radiation. Through all of this Nancy has been a real trooper and has gone to work everyday except Thursday & Friday after the treatments. She has to go in on the 5th of June for a mammogram then a CT scan to see if everything is OK. With Gods blessing I am sure everything will be OK. There is lots more to tell but do not want to bore you all with the details. Suffice it to say that I believe that there was divine intervention when the tumor was more than twice as small just a few weeks after the MRI suggested its size and possible Lymph node involvement. She went from a stage 3 to a stage 1 with a 97% survival rate at 10 years based on computer staging. I haven’t been hanging around here for quite some time as you all know but do wish you all well and want to say thank you all so much.

Dusty, that is great news.

My mom had the Taxol as well. Her feet and joints still bother her, and her hair is starting to grow back too.

Amen. Glad to hear she is tough. All that Chemo wore my neice out, and she was a young'un.

Termite (Evan) is doing good too, he's driving again, if i read the posts right.

tks for the update, God's got it.

Its amazing what modern medicine can do. I am glad to hear she is doing well. I will keep her and your family in my prayers. You seem to be very strong, positive people and I believe that means as much as the medical treatment itself. God bless and keep the positive attitude.

My sister/best friend was diagnosed with cancer 4 years ago and the night we got the dreaded call I told her "You are not a cancer victim. You are a cancer survivor!" Had a shirt with those words made for her the very next day and that was our attitude throughout treatment. I was with her every step of the way. She, my dad, my brother-in-law and I even had a head-shaving party. She is now fully recovered and pregnant with her second child. Keep your chin up and help her to keep hers up...and laugh and pray often...somehow this helps more than the medicine. My whole family will be praying for you and your whole family. God Bless!

Thank you for posting this thread Dusty and Nancy! I have never before seen a prayer reply on the internet stretch for 7 LONG PAGES with 90+ replies!!!!!

Thanks to you God is glorified and honored, and that's what it's all about. Thank you Jesus for touching so many lives in your way through this ordeal, and for healing when you heard the call. Prayers still sent for the rest of the journey but what a very happy story to read this morning.

Funny, but sometimes we only take our 'big problems' to God in prayer. He listens and hears and says to himself, "Hummmm, I wonder which of those is supposed to be the BIG problem....?" With God all things are possible. May God continue to bless you and all of those who gave their own hearts in prayer to your plight.
