Your Thoughts & Prayers Please
I just put one of those pink "find the cure" magnetic ribbons on the back of my truck.
My daughter was
, Dad put PINK on his truck?
I think it being on a truck such as mine will draw attention to it much more than it being on a Minivan, Neon or Focus.
Mom was diagnosed a little over 3 months ago and is currently recovering from the lumpectomy and on her 2nd week of Radiation.

Cancer treatment has come along way in the past couple of years (but NOT far enough ...yet) My 9 year old son was DX with Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia (ALL) on Aug 30th of this year and he is in remission! Granted there are no gaurantees in this world and he/we have a long road ahead of us but there IS hope. I wish you all the best.

Dusty, I hope everything goes well for you and your wife. Prayers sent.
My mom had surgery on 10/10 for ovarian cancer. She is doing very well. Still sore form being cut open, but feeling better every day. Thinks she'll feel good enough to go to church this coming Sunday. She had some adhesions from past surgeries (not cancer related), and they were able to take care of those as well. She doesn't hurt from them anymore.
She is going back up to Chicago in a few days to meet up with the sergeon, as a check up, and to arrange chemo treatments closer to home, if possible.

Thank you, thank you, thank you! Your wonderful comments and prayers are so uplifting, just what I need right now. Just to know that so many people would take the time and show their support for someone they don’t even know is so incredible. It just means so much, I am so touched.
God Bless You All.

good points about "so many"
got down on my hands & knees praying for you folks this morning,
and then flipped open the Book for some reading, opened to Neh Chp 3.
check out Nehemiah Chp 3. so many folks got together, and prayed and worked, and they did what seemed impossible.

You WILL get thru this!

PHOX: So sorry to hear about your mom. Saying a prayer for her at this moment.
Chrislib: It breaks my heart to see a child with a nasty evil disease. It just is not right and unfair. Praise God he is in remission.
