to God be the glory in healing her.

my wife's friend had it, and she's as fiesty now, several years later, as ever.

she goes on support meetings, like her and 2 or 3 other girls will go to lady's house when they first find out, and help them out.

i think that's the best help, when another woman, with a full head of hair, sits face to face with your wife and lets her know it's beatable, and life gets even better when you are on the other side of this.

read study pray.
send Jesus a knee-mail every time you get scared. He was here, he knows what scared is. He'll make you two strong.

here's a good place to search for key words (inspiration, fear, love, faith, healing) if you don't have a Nave's:

John 10:29 - My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.

Thank you all

Wow, such kind words this morning, Scotty. Thanks, and we enjoyed meeting you guys. Our "Strength" comes from the Lord - - He is our Rock and Fortress. God doesn't promise us a rose garden - - we still live in mortal bodies and bad stuff happens. He just promises to be with us and guide us through that "stuff".

Lean on the Lord, and know that you and your bride are the recipient of many prayers, but I also want to tell you that the big topic yester on CNBC was the "Huge Breakthrough In a CURE for certain kinds of Breat Cancer". And did I mention PRAYERS? God Bless.

There was an article in todays local rag about a new breast cancer drug that targets only dieseased cells and has "proved astonishingly effective against an aggressive form of breast cancer". Several experts used words like "revolutionary", "stunning" and "jaw dropping".

"In 1991 I didn't know that we would ever cure breast cancer and in 2005, I'm convinced we have" exulted Dr. Jo Anne Zujewski, head of the breast cancer therapeutics at the government's National Cancer Institute.

The drug's name is "Herceptin" Sounds as if they are taking some leaps in the right direction with medicines these day's.

Just thought I would share, since your family was on my mind and the next day's front page news is on the topic.

Thank you all so very much. With charts, graphs, and MRI images in hand, we have an appointment with a Doctor that specializes in Breasts for woman and this is kinda of a funny combination (hernias for men) oh well he was recommended by a friends USC college friend that is a dentist. He said his wife used him as well as the local doctors families. We have to travel a bit to Santa Barbara. The local doc (woman) in Ventura is on vacation and we cant get an appointment till November. Still trying to get our breath and put the pieces of the process puzzle together. Dieselchickcowgirl sent us a PM with the info about Herceptin yesterday. The advancements in technology are great, but I believe healing thru believing and divine intervention supersedes anything man can do. Not that we will not try to use the best available procedures.

I will keep you all posted.

Thank you all

Dusty & Nancy

"Thoughtful, honest, kind, caring, and quiet."

You are a lucky man to have a wife like this. When things like this happen you ask yourself why....someday we will all know the answer. In the meantime be strong for her and help her make the decisions that are ahead.

My thoughts and prayers for both of you.

Joe.
