Are you a nomophobiac?

It becomes a psychological problem or pathologic when the fear becomes a preoccupation or interferes with functioning in some way

Wow,

Never heard of that phobia before...

Personally, I don't think I have it, although I do feel lost without my phone. Almost naked, or out of place. After dropping my phone in 3 different toilets, I'm now paranoid around any water filled objects that my phone can commit phone-o-cide into.

Similar to when I quit drinking caffeine. I found myself reaching for the cup of Java in my cup holder on the dash of my truck.... especially @ stop lights..... even weeks after there was no more Java in the morning.

I feel for smokers trying to quit, as it was really tough not having that cup every morning.

I can have CPR [cellular phone rage] now and then, especially when someone is sitting at a green light texting, oblivious to their surroundings, three cars back from the intersection blocking traffic. The other CPR I experience is when the wandering chatter bug is all over the road steering with a knee/legg and not moving for emergency vehicles.

There, I managed to steer this one off the topic a bit. Mission accomplished.

Shrew feels good.

I leave my phone and forget about it. Then I get people who freak out because they can't get ahold of me. Uhhh sorry. It isn't attached to me, anywhere

It depends on how far from home I am when I discover I don't have it as to if I'm going to turn around for it. It's not a show stopper for my day, but I don't have to have it for my job.

If it wasn't for immediate family & work I wouldn't have the dog gone thing. If you talk to me for more than 3 min on my cell phone thats too long of a conversation. Gotta go CLICK
