Sad part of life but it's the only thing that part of world understands. Superior fire power will win everytime no matter how deep in the caves they go.

Even though I'm primarily country, that is one of my all time favorite songs. Nothing more fitting for it either.

Now if our spineless "leader" would just unleash all hell we could wrap the mess up in the ME by the end of the week. We don't even need bodies on the ground. Just a couple teams sat. marking targets and a few destroyers and carriers sitting in the middle of the ocean reigning down hell would be sufficient.

If a nuke is dropped we could still through glass. I saw an episode of future weapons where a thermbaric missile/bomb can be launched into caves to take care of them. Keith

I saw a C130 gunship but I did not see the weapon the Taliban fear the most:

the A-10 Warthog

CBRAHS,

Great post. I watched this video for the first time in early 2002 while doing my first tour in Afghanistan. I still get the same goosebumps now as I did then watching it. I have since made an additional 2 trips to Afghanistan and 1 to Iraq. Thank God for shore duty. Hope I get to stay home for the next 3 years as I am now at a training command.
