I just received 2 emails, one from the Netherlands claiming I won $1,500,000 in an internet lottery drawing

And if that wasn't enough I received one from Nairobi claiming I will receive a huge percentage of #75,000,000 if I help them move the cash here to the states.

Will wonders never cease?

I've had that Nairobi scam letter sent to me three times over the last lear...DO NOT give them your bank account#s!!!
If it's too good to be true...well, you know the saying.

Quite laughable really, these scam artists...but if you think about it, if they send out, lets say 1000,000 e-mails...and if they can get just ONE sucker who bites... they've got it made.
I'm just wondering... wheres Interpol on this?!?

Careful replying to any of this crap. I've heard of people getting stung big dollars on 1-900 phone #'s that they try to get you to phone.

I've gotten at least a dozen variations on the Nairobi letter. SOMEONE OUT THERE OUGHT TO BE INTELLIGENT ENOUGH TO MAKE SPAM GO AWAY!!!!!!! (Yes, I was shouting)

DPG: I use Mozilla and it has a spam filter included. You need to train the filter for about 50 mails and then it puts the junk mail into a junkmail folder.
Do you also get tons of mails about sidenafil citrate and some treatments to make certain body parts longer?

Haha I thought those only came if you were on their website looking for information.....Glad I dont have any!!

But yeah these emails are a pain....I got one and tried calling the satelite phone to tell him to....well u know and it didnt work. I used my cell so it was free ;D

You don't have to visit these sites, sometimes it's sufficient to have some company selling your e-mail. (Are you interested in fast cars- Yes- obviously you have a small.... so you are in the interest group ;D )

For giggles I added up the promised inches per week from my junk box- in a good week it came close to a quarter mile

Wow Joel...that was a long read...but i couldn't help but wonder...
As i read along , reading about Holden Megroin scamming the "scammer" i couldn't help but feel that this Author *might* have been scamming the readers too????

Seems to me to be a awfull lot of work to "get back" at someone?

But it's not costing me a cent so I don't really feel scammed. Took some of my time and even the possiblity that it's real is worth that time to me.
