Ours isn't so bad. Most of the guys here do an excellent job.

the drive through is a mess, no one is really professional. techs/employees come and go as they please, drink alcohol in the back and bassically do as they please.

You speaking of your express lane? Ours isn't so express. Granted they get the job done right, wash your car, do a full inspection, etc.

Alcohol would never be tolerated at my shop. All of the managers are pretty on top of their employees.

Sounds like you just work at one of "those" delaerships. [verymad]

Agree. Get ahold of your district rep. Some of whom are total jerks, sorry, but it is true. That, or take a walk to the owners office.

i might make a couple of calls this week. i have an interview for vw tommorow and one for mazda on friday

Everyone at my dealership is hard working and professional. I have worked there 24 years and have seen some bad apples come and go. They usually only last a few months before they get fired. Just glad they don't work on airplanes. We would be reading about them in the newspapers.[duhhh]

Old school.

It is like that in any business......there are good ones and bad ones......people just don't usually go around talking about the great experience they had at a good dealership, or any other business for that matter. They pretty much take it for granted that that is the way it should be. And they are right! It should be a no issue experience. But we all hear about it when it goes bad. Like said before.......talk to DC, District Rep, the Dealer Principle, or take a walk. I would not be part of anything remotely related to the things you wrote of.

As an aside, the prison where I worked in the 80's had vocational training programs in "Air Engine" and "Air Frame" and placed quite a few parolees with commercial airline shops.:o

i work at a mazda dealer and it is very professional, wont even let us have our shirts untucked. but i guess its for the good of the company.
