WooHoooooooooooooo
WooHoooooooooooooo
On Sat. My old dog (15) had a stroke and lost all function of the right side of her body including her right legs and eye. She spent 2 days at the hospital and showed no signs of improvement. I was just about to have to make a tough decision and this morning she stood up and walked and suprised everybody. She's back home now and about 70% back to normal. She's a tough old girl.... gotta love it.
Thanks John it's great to have her back. She's old and she won't live forever but she's never even had a cold and she was healthy as an ox before this episode so I was expecting a couple more years. She's been my best buddy for years and I'm not ready to give her up yet. She sees the vet every 3 months just to keep an eye on things. All of her lab work looks great so hopefully she'll still be around making me smile for awhile.

That is really great news.
This one below had been attacked by four mutts in town and was down for about six months. I took here clear up to Marshall Va for acupuncture treatments and everything (spent over $2500 in six months). Everyone said she would never walk again but one day while we had here at the river swimming to exercise her legs, she walked out of the water on her own. I had tears in my eyes because I was at the same decision point. Unfortunately, about three years later, she got cancer in one back knee joint and got down again and could not walk. I knew there was no coming back from that so I had her put to sleep. That was also a bad day. Yep, I'm not afraid to tell you I cried like a baby. Check out her pic below.

Glad to hear she is better!
I bet your doing this
We are so attached to our fur people, they’re like one of our kids. When they get sick it's a real bummer.
Hope she sticks around for a long time!

My old guy is 14 in October (see pics) His only bad habit right now is he takes a dump in my truck every time I take him with. Oh well, if I make it to (14 x 7 =) 98 years old I'll have a right to poop where ever too!
