WMO Burner

Hey everyone, I was wondering if anyone has ever built their own waste motor oil burner. My idea was to find some type of a large fuel injector of some sort with a fairly powerful pump to push it. Maybe dilute it with a bit of diesel so it aint so thick. Nothing to fancy. Just something to burn it. The more I think of it its sounding more and more like a flame thrower!!! Maybe a 55 gallon drum with some type of a bung in it for the injector....I dont know. Just looking for ideas. Thanks!!

I was thinking about this last week and wondering about putting my diesel particulate filter in the chimney so that no too much crud escapes. Probably would clog up real fast.

build a small pre-heater with a good filter. heat the oil to 220-240 degrees and it will spark ignite out of a regular oil furnace burner unit. did it for years when i was in business
