Wii

Got the kids a Wii for Christmas. Got em good too. My youngest got a xbox 360 from the ex-wifes new husbands family. When my kids were opening the gifts from me, i had wrapped all accessories individually and kept the console hidden in my bedroom, they were like, Dad we don't have a Wii. I said, I thought that is what you got from Marks family and my lil man was like NO DAD! Well they kept opening accessories and games and cords til there was no more to open. THen I said, well I guess we have to go and exchange them tomorrow since I screwed up then told them I was going to go to the bathroom. I came out with the console and said, OR we can just stay here and play the games! THEY were like YAHOOOOOO. Now dad is playin Kawasaki Jet Ski, got my son Bass Pro fishin with the pole, my daughter a Cheerleading game and the sports bundle. I am not one for video games but the Wii is kinda cool since you have to get your tail off the couch and be interactive. Baseball is cool too. Told my son, The ol man still has it! LOL..

We got ours last year, have the Fit too, but got the EA active "game" for Christmas for my wife. That one is TOUGH. The Fit has nothing on it.

It is a pretty cool thing and absolutely anyone can play it.

The wife and I have one. It's fun to play with either just us or with friends. I play Cabelas Dangerous Hunts, and Call of Duty world at war. We also have Wii Sports Resort (more fun than the sports game that comes with the consol), Rock Band, Mario Cart, and Super Mario Brothers. I want to get the Bass Pro fishing game and Modern Warfae for it sometime.

I got my wife the EA Active game for Christmas as a game for both of us. I like it much better than Wii Fit. EA Active doesn't use your balance as the measure and it keeps you moving from one exercise to the next.

That it does. I was looking at some of the reviews on it prior to buying. It's very rare that you see that many positive reviews and so very few negative. Most of the ones that weren't very good were because the resistance strap is kinda weak.

We added another tube strap that my wife had on it and it is a much better workout for me anyway.

Talking

A family member of mine got one Christmas Eve.

We were playing with the bowling, golf, and boxing games that it came with. Everyone was having a great time with it until I twisted my knee during the second round of boxing.

Went to the doctor the other day to have it looked at...

He told me it was the biggest Wii-Knee he'd ever seen.

That's terrible. Funny, but terrible.
