Morning. Waffles .......... hmmmmm. Thanks.

Starting a job today that I have been putting off for months. Sanding and re-varnishing all the wood outside my house. The window and door frames are all wood and the UV does a great job of peeling all finishes off within two years. Tried many different finishes, but nothing lasts. So far high quality spar varnish has been the best, but that does not last long either. The wood look great, but sure is a pain to maintain!

Sorry I haven't stopped by in a bit. I got tangled in a family situation that ultimately only a one way Greyhound ticket could solve, and not heading TOWARDS my house.

Looking forward to peace and tranquility with the Bride once her relations are gone that "came for a week" before Christmas.

I snagged Lary's little bottle he kept behind the fridge. Don't tell him.........

Stan, you sound like me. Spent two 1/2 days cleaning our walk in shower in master bath, doing some minor grout repairs, bleaching all grout, then yesterday sealed grout and tile. Boy, it looks new. But oh my aching back.

Man, don't drink that stuff. I threw Lary's bottle out. I put a small bottle of ant poison back there to hide from the dragon. Hope the wife and you find some peace now. Not fun.

Interesting day on the TV - - Trump baby did it again. Sic'em man.

I solved the master bath grout problem the easy way. hired a contractor and remodeled it.
$5000 for a happy wife is a small price to pay.

Wow, a whole day and no one showed up to inspect the coffee pot. Amazing. Guess everyone is snowed like I have been. Soooooooooooo, coffee, ph00 and some fresh squeezed Florida juice on the counter. Also brought some assorted pastries from our favorite local pastry owned by a friend. The cupcakes are fantastic - - enjoy.

.............................gone

Spent the morning at the local airport working with the EAA Young Eagles program. Nice to see the excitement in the kids getting their first flight. If you are not aware, the EAA gives a Certificate and a log book which they can build on. Also, a link to a free student pilot training course from Sporty's. This effort was put aside due to an emergency phone call from my Daughter. Seems she left her wallet in my car yesterday. That means, Pop made a 160 mile round trip to return said wallet.

After these fun things, decided to mow. Halfway through, riding mower crapped out. Looks like I pull the carb and maybe the head tomorrow.

I like calm Saturdays!
