Whats your Favorite Frozen Pizza?
Got in a discussion with THE BOSS about who makes the best frozen pizza, I like RED BARON, and she likes Digarnno...
who makes the best?
who makes the best?
Chris, to be honest, DiGiorno's is the only one on your list we get here in Alberta and to be equally honest, any of them are pretty awful. We still eat them once a week or so but this is just because it is fast and easy dinner.

I like Totino's. But I've been eating it since I could remember. Mom use to get it all the time so I get it when it's just me. But when DH and I shop for frozen pizza, we get Digiorno's. Like TG says, its for that lazy day of the week we need a quick easy dinner. I wouldn't say any of them taste like Italy but each has it's own palatable familiar flavor.
Freschetta for a rising crust pizza. But for the price it is hard to beat Jack's Original. Either sausage and pepperoni with "fiesta blend" shredded cheese added, or ham (AKA "Canadian bacon") and crushed pineapple added.
Rocket Inn in Indianola is supposed to have great pizza, but it's OK. Bear's Cave in Culbertson is a lot better. Loop Brewery in McCook has good pizza too. Just watch their "stupid pizza of the week". The "angry chicken" has pineapple but the pineapple will even burn your mouth.

We like the Kirkland's Frozen Pizza from Costco. Its similar to Dijorno.
The cheese one is good by itself but I always wind up dumping other stuff on them.

unmodified, probably the digorno.
I like to get the really big one Wal-Mart has for like $4. Add a pack of about 1/2 way baked, add a pack of pepperoni, some olives, and jalapenos. they are OK on their own, but make a really good foundation.

Any pizza that has beer with it... I was going to edit the poll and add that, but it would be abusive of my admin powers
To be honest, the cheap Sam's pizzas are the best bang for the buck... frozen pizza is frozen pizza. I've had awesome hand tossed pie made from scratch, so everything else is just blah.
I still like the cheap stuff, tho...

LoL! Yeah. Its not the toppings that make the pizza its the beer.
We do not have any good pizza places where I am at. Don't really care for pizza hut.
Last really good pizza I had was in Seattle. An old fire breathing oven that cooked at over 800°f.

We've got a few local shops around here that are starting to sell their little frozen "pub" pizzas in the supermarkets, just like going to the bar. Cape cod cafe and Emma's if you're from around here put digiorno to shame!
If we can't find those then Newman's Own has pretty good stuff.
