What a way to start the day
4:06 AM AK time. Sittin on the can and a 5.2 earthquake happens.
I know this may be too much information for some of you, but you start thinking what should I do? Hold your ground and hope it doesn't get worse? A tsunami in a can is messy. Make a run for it? Bare it all. Add one movement to the other? Power dump. After you've been through so many it's not worth getting upset about anymore. So you kick back and enjoy the free ride. |
Oh, dude... that made my day... I'm sorry, too.
So, how did it turn out? |
oh that is too funny!! i'm sorry for your...... um....... "experience" but reading that i almost fell on the ground laughing!!

That describes my kind of timing. I was standing in the john the morning of the big one in '92 in SoCal.
I survived that one! |
What did you eat? Maybe you caused it.[laugh]

That's funny, my wife says every time I sit on the bowl she thinks there is a 5.2 right here. [laugh][laugh]
Glad you made out all right cause the way I see it that was a crappy situation all the way around. [laugh] Thanks for the laughs. |
Man, I got food poisoning in Japan, I sat on the crapper for three days. After it was all over, there was a brown ring on the wall that was the same height as the gap between the seat and the rim. Splain' that 'crap'...

That's two within a few days. I was sitting down to a cup of lunch at work on Wednesday when that 4.9 rattled Anchorage. I discovered my chair has really good wheels...I could lift my feet and slide across the office [laugh]
