what have you found in your food at a restaurant?
had a biscuit with what looked like an onion skin in it.
ended up being a piece of plastic, looked like a BC headache powder wrapper when the manager pulled it out & unfolded.
yuk fooey.....
buddy said he found a chunk of pigs tooth in the sausage gravy at another place.
just crazy out there.
had supper at home tonite....

Advocate of getting the ban button used on him...
Not sure if I want to follow this thread!
Wife, daughter, and I were out a few weeks ago and the wife found a dark black long hair in some tarter sauce. We all are blonde so we knew it wasn't us!! My daughters pork ribs were also still bloody when she cut into them. The assistant manager was also our waitress, she got an ear full. Even though she took those two meals off our bill, I said I would rather pay full price and have it right the first time!

I was in a very small Family Owned Italian Restaurant in San Fransisco, no more than 10 tables, I like these type of places as the food is usually pretty good. I ordered dinner and they brought me a really nice salad to start with, I ate a bit of it and found a large piece of glass that appeared to be from the rim of a drinking glass.
I pointed it out to the waiter and he took it back in the kitchen, for the next 5 minutes I heard a very angry woman in Italian chewing out the kitchen staff, I was thankful I could not understand everything she was shouting at them.
They brought me a fresh salad that the waiter said the owner made just for me and told me my meal was free. They brought out my lasagna and I was not disappointed, it was the best Italian meal I ever ate. I love the small places like that, they have to be good in order to stay in business.

No that is waiting for grilling season in the freezer
I have to say though that I did see some very strange things used for food In Asia. I have an old Army buddy that had a party some time back and one of his great ideas was to feature a menu that included things one would eat in war time...
I was not having any of it...I ate that kind of stuff when I had no choice, I can afford steak now

Cats are found at mexican restaurants not italian ones!
Seriously, there was a mexican joint near me that got caught serving cat. Dead skinned cats we found at that establishment in the freezer. They got shut down, I dunno what happened to the owners but the restaurant no longer exists.

Meat is meat really. I've not had cat, (that I know of), but I'm sure I could choke it down. Basically, I'll eat anything that don't eat me first. Except eggs.

Are you serious? You ever see where those things COME from? I want to know who, in their right mind, would see that and say, "Hey! Lookit that! Let's eat it"!
Oh, THAT stuff. I really don't know how hungry I'd have to be to get bugs down. Reptiles... maybe.

At least you know where they come from! I'd rather eat an egg vs processed lunch meat, who knows what in that stuff!
