What did you do this weekend?

I volunteered to help on the ground crew for a hot air balloon. There is a festival here in town every fall , and for the last few years , I have volunteered.

Here are some pictures that were taken by a friend of mine:

The guy in the green shirt trying to untangle a rope is me:

I sat 2 feet away from the Yankee's dugout and watched A-Rod do his hair after every at bat. Shook hands with Joe Torre, had my picture taken with Derek Jeter. Talked with Jaba Chamberlin and his dad. Just another day at the office.

Got home on Saturday and installed the Smarty and the XZT and installed the gauges on Sunday. Busted knuckles to prove it.

Mowed on Saturday.

Pulled a medium Kubota 4WD tractor out of a pretty bad stuck (with the tractor wheels spinning to "help") with my 2WD with Michelins. Long enough chain so I could stay on the "road" (Dirt) and without too much ado it was free! On Sunday.

friday i helped move concrete K-rail, then tore down the dirt derby pit, then watered gravel parking lots, roads, the pulling track and pits at the local fairground and got the track ready for the pull then scaled tractors in all night while watching the pulls, then saturday i got my hair cut at my moms hair salon, watered gravel parking lots, roads, the pulling track and pits at the local fairground and got the track ready for the pull then scaled tractors in all night while watching the pulls, sunday i loafed around my buddy bill's house and helped him cut some wood for winter. was nice riding around all week in an air conditioned Case 5240 tractor with the stereo blairing country at the county fair.
