Weather Alert Radios?
Weather Alert Radios?
I've had a Midland 74-210 for a few years now... But the last couple of days of severe weather (tornadoes and thunderstorms) here in MO, I found out that the radio isn't broadcasting the NOAA alerts anymore. I've already reset all of the S.A.M.E codes, etc., and it appears to have just crapped out. The radio seems to work OK, but the alerts aren't working.
So, I sent a note to their tech support to see if they have any ideas, but in case they don't, does anyone have a weather alert radio that isn't too expensive that seems to work OK for them? Thanks....

I've got an Oregon Scientific (I'm pretty sure, will check when I get home) that works well.
I thought mine was bad as well at one time, even though the SAME codes were programmed correctly. Turns out that I had turned off it's ability to notify me of NOAA alerts

Yeah - that's what I was afraid I'd done... But I went through the entire manual again, and it sure looks like it's set correctly... But I did unplug it and remove the batteries and will see if it'll reset itself, and I'll reprogram it again...
