We are fortunate...

I have a 2001 Ferd at work in need of some repair. I thought I could turn to an online forum for answers to questions only to find that there aren't many out there and the ones existing have minimal amounts of posts. We are lucky to have such a great forum where q's get answered within minutes and we are many members strong and smart. It goes to show our passion for these machines after almost 20 years. I am thankful for this site.

Definitely,
I use a mercedes forum to troubleshoot the 300d, and those folks either don't answer your questions or give you some cocky response. This place is awesome

This place is great, AGREED! But I've found some great Ford sites, and some great MB sites as well.... IDK if a moderator will erase this, but I'll try anyway... they're for different vehicles anyway:

Ford: thedieselstop.com (they have a gasser section too)
MB: schumanautomotive.com.forums (very friendly guys there)

Couldnt have got my project going without dieseltruckresource.
Powerstrokes are a totally different breed not very many people tinker with the engine because of the electronics and the price of malfunction. haha
long live the 12valve

I, too, am very greatful for all the advice that I have received on this site... and crunchybuttr, I go to that Mercedes forum too, for questions on my
300D and all they talk about are the shops that work on their cars..seems like it anyway...

Where are you guys going? I've found a TON of DIY articles for the old Benz's

EDIT: I just noted you have a W210.... which usually they do talk about shops more, sorry.

You should be getting into the W123, W124, and W126. Excellent engines and cars to work on

Yes, I'm very appreciative of this site. I've replaced my exhaust, fuel pump, checked for the 53 block (dodge'd that bullet , no pun intended!!!) moved the puke bottle, cleaned the rad, installed full gauges, installed intake and fiddled with more things than I should have. Everyone here is great. Kudos to all!!!!!
