Water Cooler 10/10- 10/16
When a procrastinator like me has to post this, somethings wrong.[eyecrazy]
Nice day today, gotta put down some more bricks tonight under the porch to keep the dogs out of the mud. Got a load of old bricks this summer from my uncle who lost his warehouse last spring. Cobbling up a patio. Need to get tie rods on the truck and make another brick-run. Mileage wasn't bad at all last time, 2 hr drive. Dying to get Kaley back into the woods, tomorrows my Friday so shouldn't be too long. |
Why do today what you can do tomorrow....... this term musta been written by a country boy.

Ahhhhh ... tie rods. That job is slowly climbing my priority list of things that I need to quit putting off. I scared the heck out of the old lady last night with the front end wandering all over the road like a drunk [eyecrazy] [eyecrazy] .
I just tell her that I like to have a loose front end ... it forces me to pay attention !! PISTOL |

Drove to Kingsport Tenn. this weekend and picked up my mother. She will be staying with us for a week, so this will be the only day I am working:D Need some time off to spend with mom!! On a side note, she is 80 years old and loves my truck. She has been harping at my father to buy one[laugh] |
Long weekend filled with driving, more driving, and airport screenings to get a flight home.... its good to be back.

Morning y'all,
Pretty soggy in the Ozarks this morning. The gutters are clogged, basement is a little wet, dogs have to pee but won't go out into the rain, and it is a full 40 degrees cooler than what my thin skin is used to .... Sure feels like a Monday [eyecrazy] . Enjoy the day, PISTOL |
Afternoon y'all,
Back from the hospital. The surgery went real well. The Doc didn't have to dope slap me for flirting with the hired help. Bandages come off tomorrow morning, but if the initial vision improvement is an indication, I should be able to see a gnats hiney at a hundred yards. Thanks for the thoughts and prayers. I was really dreading getting it done. Guess it was the facing something unknown. Wife drove me home in the truck. All mailboxes and old ladies are safe. Time for something to eat and a nap. Hollar at ya later. Bruce |
Shortround,
Glad to hear all went well with the surgery:) Look out for those nat hiney's[laugh] My guess is the Doc didn't have to slap you for flirting with the help, because this time, you could see what you were flirting with[eyecrazy] I heard that you were seen flirting with a gorrila once, but that came from a Sailor, and you know how those guys are known to tell story's;) Hope you have a quick recovery:) |
