That is good news. Might be time for the dog to slow down a little.
Problem is they love to spend time with ya and will gladly run all day if thats what it takes to be with you.
When our dog was 14 we had to start keeping him inside when the kids were riding their bikes or he would just about kill himself keeping up.

That's going to be me when I get older......as I just don't know when to stop chasing cars, trucks and young girls.....

thats good to hear.

My terrier messed up a knee cap trying to make the turn from the hallway into the kitchen (going from carpet to hardwood) in a dead run. she would be walking along fine and it would slip and she would start hopping carrying that leg.
Dogs hurt themselves in strange ways at times.
