V-A-cation

I'm on vacation, I'm on vacation, I'm on, er ah, CRAP.
I'm supposed to be on vacation and I got a VP44 to replace and four volunteer projects and am leading. My definition of vacation must be different than everyone elses.

Gotta strip and put a 25 square roof up for one elderly lady, got a strip and 16 square roof and two doors to install for another elderly lady, two decks to build for and older gentleman and his mom, and a play fort to rebuild for the Christian campground up the road here.

(now looking for the Websters unabridged to check the definition of VACATION!!!!!!!!!!)

Joel,

You're going to have to go back to work to rest up.

Don't work too hard.

That's what happens on my vacations. The last one I took I ended up working on my cousins' (a.k.a. the twins) well drilling rig they just bought. Dang thing was on a 60's 5 ton Ford platform with a monster gas motor. The drilling rig itself had only been used a total of 15 times, basically new. My wife and son were swimming and having all kinds of fun while I was turning a wrench. Then again I find turning a wrench fun so I guess it was a somewhat of a vacation.
