Awwwwllll right, so theeerrrreeee I was, 10,000 ft up, nothin' between me and Mother Earth but a thin blonde.
All of a sudden, the plane runs out of gas. She bolts upright, and yells out:
"Oh no, now you're going to have to push, Rod"
[/quote]
Allow me to correct his for all of you folks seriously doubting sheep boys story.
LOL
His name is Rod and he likes to Rev the engine and bend the push Rods...the rods in the ingine, not the sheeps...well um err maybe I got that wrong. Not to mention the blown intercooler, dead injector pump etc etc.

I dunno where my username came from.

Couldn't time the traffic right for the return trips, so got off the freeway prior to DC and took the two-lanes, cutting up through WVA. Nice too top. Even picked up some flag stones to put around the fire pit. Got a nice patio started.

All right, Fuel System Guru, now yer forcing me to defend myself.
My nick comes from a horrendous weekend in Calgary this summer. I was running my truck up on the dyno. Well, ok, several _hard_ runs up on the dyno, and paying very close attention to the EGTs, engine temp, boost, speed, etc etc. Things weren't quite right though, as the dyno numbers were 60 ponies off where they should have been. Turns out I had a cracked intercooler, so my boost wasn't building to what it should have, but EGTs were fine. After about the 7th hard run, my attention waned, and I didn't notice that I'd buried the engine temp hard. A couple times actually. To make a long story, short, I'd nuked a couple push rods by the end of the day. :'(
As for the VP44, we're not gonna go there. We're just not.

I was in Uncle Sams yacht club for a few years hauling those gyrines around on a flat top. Got out and never looked back but I wouldn't be in the job I am in now without that training. My opinion is that every young man and maybe woman should do at least a short hitch. It will definately change your attitude.

As for my name, I was at a tractor pull unloading my old R model diesel one day when someone hollered hey dieseldude. I took that and added 4x4 to it cause I've had 4x4's since I started driving a long time ago and the rest is history as they say.

I like Gonzo's favirite movie, Touched by an Anvil. Gotta remember that.

My dad always told me I could (you know what) an anvil.

wait, I don't get it.
