The Muslims have more rights than we do at this point. I'm all for freedom but not at anyone else's expense

This is why we need to be more vocal, stand up and be counted. Voice your opinion, let it be heard and don't let anyone to tell you to sit down and shut up.

Ok, this last one and I'm done.

Read and determine for yourself who is demanding whom to "sit down and shut up"

I value free speech and more importantly, separation of church and state. I prefer the original motto of the United States "E pluribus unum" over "In God We Trust".

There is no seperation of church and state in the US Constition. There is a ban on state sponcerd religion.

I also want free speach but when another group can have the Ten Commandments removed because it hurts there feelings then they have steped on my rights.

Also the statement on the first currency used in this country was mind your own business.

I just dont want my tax money to support something I don't believe in. People can pray to who or what ever they want. Just don't try to force it on anyone else. The major problem I have is with most religions they teach that you have to know there is a god. If you can't understand why someone feels and think differently then you are being ignorant. I have to see signs and bumper stickers that support a god all the time. It doesn't bother me one bit. However if I put a Darwin sticker on my truck people would get their panties in a bunch. Now the op could have said I didnt mean to tell you to sit down and shut up I would have some more respect for him. But he has been taught that if he doesn't try to recruit more people for his religion then he is not doing what god wants of him. I have a reverend in my family and grew up listening to him preaching. I will let my daughter discover and beleive in what she wants to. It's the freedom that we must give to each other. That's the best part of America.

The first Americans came here because they were told to sit down and shut up. Think about it. If people want to go and pray they can have at it. Just don't try to force it on others. Also I hope you all have a very merry Christmas.

Well stated.

All you are doing is proving my point. I understand in Cali it might be ok to say something like that to man cause you can't own a knife let alone a gun. Say that to a man here and you might not like the outcome. May you and your god have a fruitful relationship.

How about a sense of humor muddled with sarcasm? Am I allowed to own one of those in Cali?
