Update

Just found some wireless here and thought i would give everyone an update. I am in Enid Oklahoma now (anyone in the area look for the NH CX combines, we are working northwest of the city on Bowen Farms, stop in and ask for Jayme)

We started cutting wheat last friday, and since then me and the other guy in my field have cut over 1000 acres (all terraced ground). We have 3 more combines running on another farm over on the east side of highway 81.

It was a long drive down here from Alberta , especially for me driving a set of B trains (which are overlength in kansas, And we crossed kansas on the way down) Passed a DOT truck and 3 state troopers on the interstate , and luckily none of them bothered me...

Anyways , gotta run , keep on truckin ya'll.

Met up with any of them girls yet?

If you like to farm, that's some pretty neat country. Me, I get bored mowing 9 acres.

Look out for the monster wheat fields in western Kansas. My cousin brought back stories of a field 10 miles by 14 miles. I think that one held them up a week. I think it's somewhere near here? http://www.google.com/maphp?hl=en&q=...01112,0.322037

If you run through Hutchinson, KS wave hi & make note of the grain elevator you're running to.

Seen a few girls kickin around , but nothing real special, met one at the elevator the other day, but it was the farmers grand daughter , and he had just been telling me that morning about the oklahoma "make my day law" so i think i'm gonna avoid that one.

Brandon, i think we will be in that area within a few weeks, know any cute single 18-25 year old girls in that area??

I am not tired of farming this much at all yet, we have one farm in alberta that we cut 36 000 acres of wheat for.

We are almost finished up here in oklahoma , we did less here this year because there was a terrable crop. We were scheduled to roll out tomorrow sometime , but rain has had us shutdown for 3 days now.

A 10 x 14 mile field would be 89,600 ACRES. Gawd almighty. That's bigger than some counties. Wish I owned a field like that. I'd sit out in the middle of it with a lawn chair, a cooler of beer, and a bullet-rifle, and just look at it all.

Plenty! Just visit the Ag building in the community college and you're in! I even have a sister in that age range. Careful though, she's college edumacted now.

Dad said the wheat up there should be ready early (read: now). Not sure what happened, but I think they were dry for awhile.

Glad you're having fun! Look out for the rattle snakes!

I hope they kept your sister out of the milkhouse...or else she might be brain damaged like you Or maybe you were bitten by a rattler, and they forgot a little poison. There are too many possibilities on how you got were you are today

I hope it wasn't the school you went to
Chris

BTW, Glad you're still liking the work Jayme
