This should be one heck of a show. I was watching the pre-hype yesterday on Spike. They were talking with each fighter and showing their training courses.

I've never sat down and watched Rampage fight but from his previews the guy looks like a frickin bull. They said his fighting has gotten alot more technical, he just won't pick you up over his head and slam you he will also choke the living day out of you.

Here is my predictions for the night.

Poor Gonzo looked like a tractor weight and his nose made contact.

 

gonna be an awesome show. now since ufc bought pride, things are going to get real interesting. pride has some serious fighters. i am torn between rampage and henderson.

Randy is da man! Hammil has my vote. He's deaf and a great fighter. Bisping made sport of him and his disability so I'd like to see Matt sling it back. I never did like Bisping much anyways although he did pour it on with his last fight.

 

I've already got my Tivo set to record it. I won't be able to watch it live.

 

yea ill be watching. Hope bisbing pulls out the KO, and Rampage to, even though Dan henderson is pretty much a beast. Im glad the UFC is getting more airtime and promotion, theres alot of good fighters that just joined up now so it should be some better competition now.

Atleast it's free this time. Having HDTV it's $50 per event. I'm using the $50 for some Tri Tip BBQ & beer for the fight.

 

I bought the stacked ppv, and I was mad they didn't show the pre-lims. I think they could atleast do that.

 

this is the biggest fight in the history of mma. Dan Henderson is an abolute animal, he destroyed Wanderlei Silva who has handed Jackson his #ss twice. This is the first true world title fight. Could go either way, but Hendo deals real well fighting bigger guys.

 

Matt Hamill was robbed!!!!!!! Henderson did a good job but not quite good enough although I personally thought that he should have won the decision. He worked harder and landed just as well as Jackson and was taking him down throughout. Not enough damage landed I guess. Crocop ummmmmmmm I'm not even sure what to say about that... other than he was kneed in the crotch about 6 times. Maybe that just took the fight out of him?????
