trying to do some upholstery
finally bought a used ind. upholstery sewing
machine. got many rigs on the farm with old vinyl seats that need redone. last seat cover i bought and used was well over 300 bucks. my wife makes alot of her own clothes so she knows alot of ways to make patterns and the like. first try will be the seat on our run around cart. if that goes well we are going to do our suburban seats. looking for tough long lasting stuff. going to order rubber floor for the burb also.

well with the help of my wife, we upholstered the seat on our heald hauler . you can see the old seat cover next to the one we built. i did the sewing and my wife did the best she could to keep my from screwing it up. ready to do my suburban seats now. that is dirt on the seat from the dog riding shotgun
