Anyone get them as frequent as I do? Im on my 4th in 2 months...

What do you guys do to calm them, mines way painfull and i have no way of stopping it...

I will infrequently get them, but mine are usually under my tongue. I get a silver nitrate stick from drugstore and hold it right in middle of ulcer. It gets rid of it, but I don't know how one would prevent them.

 

gets rid of it instantly or in a day or two?

 

Gly-Oxide from the drug store/ wal-mart..... taste funny but will knock it out in a day or so......

between those and canker sores I feel your pain. I went to the doctor when I was younger and was told that I had an amino acid deficiency. told me to go to wally world and pick up Lysine and take one daily. stuff works! your mileage may vary and as always, consult a physician.

 

Place affected area of tongue on old fashion frost-covered-aluminum ice-cube tray,,,,,, remove tongue rapidly!

 

Double up on anything with Vitamin C in it!!

quit eating acidic fruits. strawberries. pineapple etc. wallnuts will do it too

 

Thats the thing, the most acidic thing i eat(drink) is home brewed ice tea... I gonna get a appointment set up with my doctor....
