Toaster/Oven/Broiler

My wife has a small two slice toaster from black&decker. She wants to take this in the 5th wheel when we go on vacation. My question is how can I find out what amp this toaster is rated for?

I looked on the b&d's website but no luck, and I don't have the owners manual. Thanks, Tony

Hey, I'm an electrician and the easy way if you really wanted to know is put an ammeter around one wire in the cord. If you don't want to butcher the cord, try to find the power rating in watts and divide by 120 volts. I wouldn't imagine it being very much though.

Thanks Man, Doing the math would put it at 12.5 amps.

Later, Tony
