Talledega Run

Got to stretch the 07 5.9's legs yesterday!

Got 3 laps at talledega for free, my buddy's girlfriend had the pass.

80 mph pace, but i slowed down in the straights to run her in the corners....fastest i got was 102 in turn 2....i wish i could have gotten more laps.

Truck is stock other than no kitty, donaldson 51" and intake silencer and baffle gone along with a roktech...she needs more gear...maybe a gear vendors in the future? Anyone else done something like this?

I hope i put this in the right place....

If you notice in the pictures, i have my wheel turned to the right....all the way around the track i was turning right to prevent going to the inside of the track....when i was around 100 i was having to turn it less, but still to the right....crazy!

wheel turned to the right means you just weren't applying enough right foot pressure.........

Aw, that would be a blast!

Too bad they won't let you run full speed.

you can run as fast as you want as long as you dont pass anyone....believe me, i was applying all the right foot pressure i had in the turns....it was taching out i guess?

I dont know why i get teh black on the side...i hate it, it was worse when i had teh smarty, but i sold it and i still get it after about 500 miles...might be something to do with the mudflaps?

stock truck 1300 is very possible

has anyone else ever ran their 6 speed truck with teh g56 to top end?? i think it ran out of gear because before i left i put the truck on jaclstands and it would do 110 like that...

im surprised you had to turn right above 80, most vehicles will stick to the banks at anything faster than 80, atleast you know your truck handles good and dosent push, smacking a S.A.F.E.R. barrier at 102 would pretty well fubar your truck and you.
