Switching browsers

As the other browsers have gotten more popular I have been wondering how many people have used something else and gone back to IE. I switched to Firefox on version 1.0, about 9 months ago I started using Opera, and am now using the intergrated email wiht Opera. My wife switches back and forth between Opera and Firefox, but neither one of us can stand using IE any more.

Have any of yall used something else and gone back to IE?

I've used Firefox and Opera a few times, mainly to fix Internet Explorer after something fries it.

Then I always end up using Internet Explorer again. Nothing on Firefox or Opera to woo me to their side, I'd rather keep things simple with what's integrated into Windows.

"Tabbed browsing" is the biggest overstated scam ever. If I knew I could create such a revolution with "tabbed browsing" then I would have done it eight years ago when I first browsed the Internet with more than one open copy of Internet Explorer.

All said, however, I keep Firefox installed because it gets me out of trouble I occasionally get into with IE.

Went to Firefox about a year ago and haven't looked back since. Love the tabbed browsing feature!

Tried the others, stayed with IE. Tabbed browsing is annoying and slow. I prefer multiple windows with alt-tab to switch.

The unknown security flaws in other, less supported browsers, scare the bajeebees outta me.

Flaws are uncovered in IE, yes, but because it has widerspread usage and thousands of security personell from many different companies all attacking it for research and security improvements.

If the same ammount of people used one of the other browsers.. and had the same task force behind it trying to crack it.. the results would be pretty interesting to say the least.. especially with how many flaws have been found with such small marketshare.

I used Firefox for two years, LOVED IT!!! I never saw it as media friendly(too many plug in's) so i used IE for that...But know im running IE 7 and tremble when i have to use slow firefox..IE 7 is the greatest thing ever...the tabs are much faster, less plug ins, no crashes yet. Firefox would freeze on me atleast once a week!!!

Been using Mozilla since 1.1b. The only time I use IE is when I'm checking the WSUS server.
