DW has strongly suggested that I get off my posterior today and do some things like take down the Christmas lights and start getting the lawn tractor ready for the mowing season. I don't have a good counter-argument so I guess chores are the way to go

Well, the last few days just weren't that much fun,
But in the kitchen the important stuffs done.
' lectrics run and to my glee
Not once did I electrocute me!
A new service panel is in place
So for appliances there is now space.
Outlets hung in orderly row
And lighting too, don't cha know.
New drain pipes for an apron sink
And properly vented, so it won't stink.
Two big windows now let in light,
Tho framing them in was a bit of a fight.
The butlers pantry has a fresh new wall,
Where water-rot made the old fall.

Time washing clothes the wife can now spend
The laundry room reno has reached the end
That's one space that is complete,
And if I may say so, turned out real neat.
The dryer exhausts thru a hidden vent,
A lot of work but time well spent
The walls are finished, as are the floors,
One room is finished! Now only four more!

Monday number 7 of this week is done. Thunder Over Louisville may be a big party for some, but I think I am beginning to detest it...

Missing one week of prep due to illness has me scrambling. I'm glad I work with a team that can roll with the punches. Tomorrow, we figure out how 8 people can rig security rope, (7000 ft) and pull it down 4 hours after we put it up. All without interrupting taxiing aircraft and other such nice things.....

I have had two days of digging in the slop to find an underground leak around my softener, hauling yard debris, installing a mail box for a neighbor who did not know how to do it (including hurting my shoulder some more) and a bunch of hours trying to get my dumb computer to attach to my wifi. Why did it NOT attach is the question - - it does it every day, but yesterday it decided to get honery. So, I finally, just now, got back on the wifi, hence the web. What do I find - - a bunch of poets confusing me while I try and figure out what they are trying to tell me. LOL - - - you guys are amazing. Love it. I am amused and impressed with your ability to make this stuff up so easily. Carry on, Watson. ..........

Grabbing my ph00 and getting back outside to install a new water softener. Boy have those things gone up since the last time I bought one. Well, come to think of it, so has everything else except my paycheck. Hmmm, come to think about it, I don't get a paycheck and it is for sure Social Security check has not increased. Oh well, can't complain. Life is good - - except for this dumb wifi. ...................................
